Dave Schott is the executive vice president of the Southern Oregon Timber Industries Association, a Medford-Oregon organization founded in the early 1940s that represents the interests in loggers and forest products manufacturers based in southern Oregon.
Schott holds a law degree from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon and an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Oregon, Eugene. He has been a lumber broker in Medford Oregon since 1977 and has represented SOTIA in various venues since 2004.
Schott is a Rotarian and past member of the Board of Directors of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association. In his youth he drove tour buses on the Alaskan Highway and managed a 28-horse pack station.
