Just about any sawmill owner in the country could have written the Guest Column, but this one happens to have been penned by Brett Bennett, vice president of family-owned Bennett Lumber Products in Princeton, Idaho. We have known Mr. Bennett and his father, Frank, for many years. Their company is among the top 90 lumber producers in the nation and their lumber, principally fir, is sold throughout the United States and Canada, as well as overseas.
