What's the future for small-diameter logs? That's exactly what we'll be talking about at the upcoming Small
Log Conference this March 23-25, 2011 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. As most of you know, Smallwood-News and Montana Community Development Corporation (where I work) have produced the conference since 2009. This year's theme is "Technology, Evolution & Collaboration", and like past years, we'll be bringing together national and international players to offer information not found anywhere else. Our co-chair's and steering committee members have arranged for attendees to visit Idaho Forest Group's Chilco mill and Stimson Lumber Co's Plummer mill on the 23rd followed by two days of educational presentations and networking on the 24th & 25th.
