Dear Readers:
In a little less than a month, attendees at the 2011 Biomass Central Heating Symposium in Salt Lake City, Utah will get an opportunity to discuss and learn about an exciting, relatively new option for heating homes, schools, and business -- biomass central heating. The Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI),
the Hearth, Patio & Barbeque Association (HPBA) and the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation have teamed up to present the symposium and give attendees a day's worth of solid information and technology insight behind this profitable, new market.
As someone whose work revolves around opening new markets for forest products, I'm excited to see such a comprehensive agenda and feel it'll be well worth your time if you can make it. By the way, Association members and non-members are welcome to attend.
You can register for this March 2 event by clicking this link.
Also, if you sign up for the PFI luncheon, you'll be able to hear Don Johnson's (HPBA) report on 2010 pellet stove and inserts trends and shipment numbers, which should be an enlightening presentation.
Best wishes,
Craig Rawlings
