The forest sustains the mill. The mill sustains communities. Only well-supported communities can drive stewardship that balances conservation, recreation, and industry. Thriving WUI communities are key — they are how the benefits of working forests reach the broader public.
The question becomes, then: Why do so many that benefit from a sustainable system that fosters balance through education - fail to value and support the work that sustains it?

For forty years, Evergreen has been building public understanding and trust in science-based forestry. That trust doesn’t just appear; it grows through decades of conversation, education, and consistency.
Trust is the foundation that keeps the bridge between forest health and community health standing strong.
